Expertise

The lawfirm Skagastøl was established in 2020 by Karl Otto Tveter and Nils Bugge.

Karl Otto has previously worked three years in the tax law department of the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and 28 years in Orkla ASA, including 19 years as legal director and general counsel.

Karl Otto was part of Orkla’s executive group management team from 2012 to 2019 and was in this period responsible for several group functions and certain executive operations in addition to his as general counsel.

Nils has previously worked with the Norwegian Attorney General, six years with the Norwegian industrial company Kværner, including two years with Kvarner Warnow Werft GmbH in Rostock/Warnemünde (Germany), three years in the lawfirm BAHR and 21 years as partner of the lawfirm Selmer.

Susanne Schneider joined the firm as partner in January 2023.  Susanne provides the firm with additional expertise in corporate law, contracts, technology, capital market transactions and securities law. She has commercial experience as an in-house lawyer in several industrial companies, and 20 years of experience as a partner in the law firms Kvale and SANDS.
