Ole has a broader work experience as a lawyer than most others, having established himself as a private practicing lawyer after many years of experience both as a litigation lawyer in the public sector and as an in-house counsel in a major investment bank. makes Ole an experienced problem solver and all-rounder with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve challenges clients face, both of a legal and practical/strategic nature. Ole has particular expertise in financial regulatory issues, corporate law, contract law, and administrative law.
Ole is admitted to the Supreme Court of Norway and has litigated numerous cases at all levels of the Norwegian courts as well as in Norwegian and international arbitrations. He also has experience as an arbitrator.
As the General Counsel in Pareto Securities, Ole worked on international expansion, all forms of legal challenges the business faced, as well as financial regulatory compliance. He was also responsible for anti-money laundering efforts, an area he has later provided extensive advice on in his role as private practicing lawyer. Both as General Counsel and as a lawyer, Ole has developed practical programs to ensure businesses’ compliance with relevant legislation.
Ole is a sought-after speaker, particularly related to compliance and governance and control in companies supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.
